PRIVACY
Your information stays out of the directory.
Here’s how Orlando.Biz handles optional form submissions and basic page counts.
What you submit
The correction form records the listed business being corrected, your explanation, and your business email. New business submissions are currently unavailable. Previously submitted business details remain in private storage under the practices described here.
Please do not include passwords, payment information, patient details, customer records, or other sensitive personal information. There are no file uploads.
Where it goes
Submissions are saved in this site’s private database for review. They are not automatically published, and there is no public submission feed or read API. Business email addresses are not shown on directory profiles. A one-way fingerprint of the submitted business details recognizes exact repeats for 24 hours, including after a page reload. This does not store form contents in your browser or add your signed-in identity to the record.
The guide’s pages are public. Form submissions and contact messages remain in private storage for the site owner to review. The forms themselves do not require an account and do not copy signed-in account names or emails into submission records.
These forms no longer read or store network addresses or create network-address hashes for abuse controls. Instead, private counters limit valid attempts across all visitors: 500 per UTC day for contact messages, 500 shared by business submissions and corrections, and 500 for the separate advertising-interest action. Retries count toward these limits. Someone else can use up a shared allowance and temporarily prevent submissions. Older network-address hashes and salts may remain in private storage; expired records are removed in small batches during later valid requests and may remain longer without traffic. No messages or business submissions are deleted by this cleanup. The hosting provider may separately process network addresses and retain operational logs.
Earlier advertising-interest choices
Any advertising-interest choice recorded with an earlier business submission remains separate from its listing details. Removing the new-business form does not change those existing records or choices.
No automatic email is sent. The site takes no payments and does not book advertising.
Contact messages
Your name, email and message are saved privately for the site owner to read and reply if needed. Your email is used only to respond to your message; this does not sign you up for marketing. Do not send passwords, payment details, medical information, financial documents or other sensitive information. No attachments are accepted. Messages remain in private storage until the owner deletes them; there is no automatic deletion schedule. Sending a message does not guarantee a reply. No automatic email is sent.
The contact form does not require a separate form sign-in. Your account identity is not copied into a contact message. Messages have no public feed, lookup or read API. Retry protection stays in the open page; reloading starts a new attempt, so keep the page open if a save cannot be confirmed.
Review and removal
Submission records remain available to the site owner until reviewed or removed. No automatic deletion schedule for submission records is currently configured. To request access, correction, or deletion, use the contact form.
Basic page counts
We use a small built-in counter to understand which public pages are read. It keeps only the UTC calendar day, the public page path and a total view count in this site’s private database. The counter does not store IP addresses, browser details, referral pages, full URLs, search or filter values, form entries, visitor identifiers or individual viewing histories.
The counter uses no cookies or browser storage and sends no analytics to a separate analytics provider. Preview hosts and marked testing visits are excluded. It respects supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. The totals are approximate pageviews, not a count of unique people. Aggregate counts remain available to the site owner until removed; no automatic deletion schedule is configured.
Our hosting service still processes the network requests needed to deliver and protect the site. Its technical request records are separate from these aggregate page counts.
Other websites
Official business and map links open external websites, which have their own privacy practices. Orlando.Biz does not use advertising trackers. Optional analytics is described below.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics loads only after you choose Accept analytics. Google receives analytics identifiers, device and network information to help us understand approved public page visits. This is not anonymous analytics. This integration does not use advertising, Google signals, user-provided data, form contents, search terms or full URLs containing query strings or fragments.
Your choice is stored on this site address for 180 days without a visitor identifier. Use Privacy & analytics on any page to accept or reject; rejecting does not affect site features or existing first-party aggregate page counters. After permission, Google may use host-only analytics cookies for up to 180 days. Reject analytics stops new collection and removes these cookies. Data already sent is not erased. If an old runtime remains, reload when ready after saving unfinished work. Previews, QA-marked visits, unknown routes and URLs with queries or fragments are excluded. Browsers without the required navigation protections remain excluded.
See Google’s privacy policy. The first-party aggregate counter, where present, remains separate and is not forwarded to Google.
